At a public meeting convened in Canberra by the Public Health Association of Australia on Thursday the 27 September, the Chief Minister and Health Minister Katy Gallagher MLA as well as the Shadow Health Minister Jeremy Hanson both expressed their strong support on personal and party grounds for the national registration of paramedics.

Paramedics Australasia welcomes these statements of support for registration which has received overwhelming practitioner backing of 87% in the recently concluded national paramedic survey and ringing endorsement from a wide variety of stakeholders at all consultation sessions convened by the registration project review team.
