Last Friday, 31st May Canadian air ambulance lost four people – two pilots and two paramedics – in an air ambulance crash in Ornge, Ontario.

On behalf of the Board and members of Paramedics Australasia, President Ian Patrick sent a letter of condolence to extend sympathy to colleagues and family of those who were killed.

The loss of four dedicated paramedics and pilots in the line of duty is tragic, and highlights the dangers with which rescuers are regularly confronted.
