On 30 June 2011, Ray Bange, policy consultant for Paramedics Australasia accompanied by ACT Chairman David Tassicker and PA member and vice president of the NCAU Steve Mitchell held a productive meeting with Angie Drake, health policy advisor to the ACT Chief Minister and Health Minister.

The key topic of discussion was paramedic registration, as well as broader discussions regarding health reform and the relationship of the out-of-hospital healthcare sector with future organisational structures, including Local Health Networks and Medicare Locals.
