ACAP represented by Alan Eade (Vice President), Richard Larsen (Director), and Ray Bange (Policy Consultant) visited the Wellington Free Ambulance today (20 August 2010). The visit with the WFA was organised to coincide with the Ambulance New Zealand briefings being held in Wellington on paramedic registration.

Wellington Free Ambulance were wonderful hosts providing access to a range of staff and managers across the education, clinical, and operational spectrum. The opportunity to visit operational staff in the station environment was useful in discussing the impact of the registration proposal on the New Zealand workforce and the potential for the establishment of a New Zealand professional representative organisation.
