The Tasmanian Chapter will present its first free ‘Wednesday Morning Paramedic CPD Session’ on Wednesday 24 May from 9–10.30am.
- The Palliative Patient: Implications and Responsibilities for Paramedics – Dr Robyn Thomas, Staff Specialist at Southern Palliative Care Services, and
- Ischaemic Stroke in the Pre-hospital Setting, Validated Assessment Tools and Innovation in Diagnosis and Treatment – Gemma Kitsos, Hospital Engagement Coordinator at the National Stroke Foundation.
This Ambulance Tasmania-endorsed event will be held at Ambulance Tasmania Headquarters – Auditorium, 1 Melville Street, Hobart and teleconferenced to Burnie, Devonport and Launceston.
