Interested in ultrasound-guided peripheral IV cannulation?

Paramedics and final year university student paramedics are invited to register online to attend a 2.5 hour research session where they will be taught ultrasound-guided peripheral IV cannulation; and then be tested using an ultrasound and textured simulator on how well they performed two different techniques for this procedure.

What is this research about?

Comparing the success of long versus short-view paramedic ultrasound guided cannulation, this is some of the first paramedic ultrasound research in Australasia and will be a ground-breaking step in advancing the scope of paramedic practice and science.

The research is being conducted at the CQUniversity Sydney campus (on Kent street in the heart of Sydney’s CBD) across multiple days with sessions at different times. For session information and registration, visit paramedicultrasound.eventbrite.com.au
