National Policy Advisor Ray Bange addressed the 2011 Convention of the National Council of Ambulance Unions in Melbourne on Thursday 1 September 2011. The themes of Ray’s address and lively discussion period were the potential developments in the health workforce and the likely implications of national paramedic registration.

More than 30 paramedics from every jurisdiction in Australia were present providing a strongly representative and united group focussed on enhancing patient care through best practice and  appropriate training, resourcing and recognition for the EMS sector.
