Rural and Remote

Home / SIGs / Rural and Remote

Rural and remote health issues are a high priority. Wherever we live we should be entitled to equal access to healthcare and we believe that paramedics have a crucial role to play in provision of health services in rural and remote areas.

The Rural and Remote Special Interest Group provides representation on key bodies, such as the National Rural Health Alliance, and provides an important perspective to rural and remote healthcare.

Since 2014 the RR SIG has been sharing information through Twitter@Rural_Paramed_1.  We encourage everyone with an interest in rural issues to participate in the Twitter conversation by posting comments, retweeting, debating the issues or posting interesting materials from around the world.

If you are looking for some information about a development or any ideas you have, this may be the place to ask for assistance through our networks.
